I have an army no.6 stove and would like to know more about what I think are the makers marks.
It has the letters J&F P on the side and I think a date of 85. Does anyone know anymore about these.

Possibly someone who does know just hasn't looked at this thread yet - it's been only 3 hours!

Or maybe we just don't know...

Are they worth anything? Mine actually has a slightly different NSN (7310-99-138 3660) and is titled Outfit, Field, Cooking, No.6 but looks the same.

Is it worth anything as I'd really like one of the newer pump petrol/diesel stoves. That said the heat this thing generates is immense!

Does anyone know yet who J&F P are or were?

Is there a civilian equivalent to the No. 6, like the Optimus 80 is apparently the No. 7?
