classical stoves Optimus 182 with Radius burners Enders Baby military use - only burner module without the case (but burner not for the ski) old spiritus burner
next Family Member ШААЗ arrived with fuel /no leaks some spiritus - and spark ...and working well -at once - without any other works build in 4.1990 i think - copy was better quality then original no rust on tank!!!
I like it. I wonder why Coleman never produced such a stove? I'd bet that >90% of the the time, only the main burner is used on their two burner models.
meantime - some dinner photo I was made some fire... I need to learn preheating - till this time - only safe outdoor using is "allowed"
Gieorgi- The flame and beans look good. Starting should be same as a Coleman suitcase -- I assume all the plumbing is the same. 1. Turn wire lever so it points up (this introduces air to atomize the fuel during priming). 2. Light the burner and open the main valve to produce a large flame (all the way open is fine). Flame will be large with lots of yellow. 3. After about 1 min (or when the flame is mostly blue) turn the wire lever to point down. (And you can turn the flame down.) 4. Official directions call for more pumping air at this step. I do not usually find it necessary to add more pressure but I often do it anyway. Shut down: Rotate wire lever back up for a minute before turning main valve off. This makes for a faster start the next time, and it also may help keep the generator clean.
Fellow stovies "this guy's" hunting sure finds interesting, diverse stuff. Hi Gieorgi lubię fasoli, that is great! My compliments again ANOTHER excellent sampling. Also that you hunting finds MANY VERY DIFFERENT stoves it is hard to keep up with you. 8 months ago you post something and I end up ask myself "Russian szmel in Poland?" hmmm I was not knowing szmel. Finally I find what you mean, OH YES, Gieorgi, now I see, Russian Szmel. No soon as I see that, you say to us today Stalowa Wola in Inowrocław, I maybe catch up with this one next year. never a dull moment, dziękuję, omc
You touched many problems... Thats stove - unknown producer - was from "Stalowa Wola" or "Inowrocław" It still makes me nervous - dropping in "white holes" of stove knowlege - not far, watched by me - history... I saw them two Years ago... ----- short lessons for You about Baked beans /fasolka po bretońsku very very useful dish in outdoor fasola - proper first meaning is just bean/plant, grain of thats plant 1 This is baked beans - To jest (kto, co) fasolka po bretońsku 2 We dont have baked beans - Nie mamy (kogo, czego) fasolki ... 3 Bean is lack of salt - (komu, czemu)Fasolce brakuje soli. 4 I see bean - Widzę (kogo, co) fasolkę /po bretońsku 5 I am talking about bean Mówię (o kim, o czym) o fasolce 6 I a'm traveling with bean - Podróżuję (z kim, z czym) z fasolką 7 My dear bean, wish that you were here - Moja Droga (!vocative) Fasolko, szkoda, że Cię tu niema ---- Whats for - I'am writing This because You write lubię fasoli and this is meaning-form antagonism leading to confusion I like /(kogo, co) 4 I see bean - Widzę (kogo, co) /fasolkę but fasoli answering on: Nie lubię (kogo, czego)fasoli I dont like bean As You see - You must choose: Or You like - or Fasoli -------------------- Last stove is ШААЗ бензиновая плитка We know ШААЗ triple burners primus type stove - and /i think/ single burner. Itchy - thanks - "its working"... Meantime: May I introduce to You - Cathalitic Personal Heater Russia circa 1980
That's neat! Have you used it? Does that lever make it tiny regulated heater? or is that lever for off/extinguish? thx omc
I am working on proper starting cathalitic process. Yes, thats lever opening/closing "hole" transporting gasificated benzin (correct?). Закрыто Открыто
I agree with you. I would love a Coleman single burner suitcase (box) style stove. A pared down tank and all the output of the main burner, with windscreens? Yes sir. I'll take two.
Oh my, Villiers, didn't know they made stoves, hope they run better than their motors. Although my British Seagull has a Villiers motor and it's the only Villiers that alwayse works. Great find Cheers Rob
Gieogi, It's a Bitsa ! Bits of this and that (esp Optimus and Primus). and ANOTHER unique offering! Clearly a domestic and as you say *EL GIGANTE, if you have this in-hand, can you tell us the bottom stamping? IF, by chance bottom is stamped optimus (is there even ever any chance of that?) if so the stamping, the burner and tank lid offer clues. *sorry no guess from me on that one, not even "EL" language. thx omc
