Hi, I acquired this Meva two burner stove some time back. I've not seen this Meva model stove before. I came from Slovenia. Since I'm not familiar with this stove I'm hoping someone will help me out with this. The stove seems to be quite sturdy and well made. The original fuel hose was missing, but it still have it's original connector. So I removed what was left of the fuel hose and replaced it with AN-3 SS braided hose. This hose is rated at 2000 psi burst, so it will handle the pressure. As can be seen the original connector has seen better days but at least it still does it's job of connecting. I also checked the control spindles and found both O-Rings were bad. I tried 2 different O-Ring sizes and found the O-Ring that worked the best was the Buna-N 70 with 4 mm ID and a 2.5 mm cross section. Also the same O-Ring worked to seal where the fuel hose connects to the stove. I tested everything to make sure there were no leaks and then it was time to fire the stove. I tried 3 different fuels. 1. Straight Butane 2. Isobutane 3. Propane Butane and Isobutane were almost identical. Stove running on butane. Isobutane. Propane. I don't know when this stove was made, but I like the way it runs. I did notice after changing the O-Rings on the spindles it was a bit touchy when trying to get it to simmer, but I'm sure this will change as time goes by. Appears to have burners derived from Meva's earlier forays into lpg stove manufacture. Like this single burner model ... ... and this twin burner model. You mention yours being touchy to get it to simmer Norman. You'll notice on both of mine there is a variable air inlet device on each of the riser stems to 'tune' the burner for ideal fuel/air mixture for a given setting. Such a device was quite common on early lpg stoves. It's not apparent whether your burners have such a fitting. The same device (a threaded sleeve on the threaded burner riser) makes it possible to partially block off the air inlets to richen the mixture. A similar concept is installed on a Sigg Firejet, but that's to facilitate the use of gasoline or kerosene on the same sized jet. John

Hi, Here are more pictures of the stove. I've been using the stove so getting it to simmer is no longer touchy. I think the only reason why it was touchy is due to the new O-Rings on the control spindles. Here are the variable air inlets. Flame shots. Burner shot. The stove operates well. Cheers, Norman
