This might not be what's making your flame lopsided, but two days ago I noticed that my Hipolito fitted with a silent burner was producing a flame like yours.

After pondering for a while, and making sure the caps were seated properly, I found that the nipple needed tightening a bit. That immediately fixed the problem.

Sometimes you get lopsided flame if there's a bit of crud or damage in the jet.

    Cheers

The wires in the first photo are part of a homemade trivet the former owner installed.

I'm supposing it's the Radius you made reference to in my post on an Optimus 80 repair? There was some discussion on 'screw in' or 'brazed' burner stem to tank joint. The outcome's obviously a success but hopefully you've a follow-up fettling post in the making?

Just started working on this one. Someone painted it red. Gotta get model number off it and do some obvious cleaning, but she's coming along. All 3 burners humming.

Early KampKook first lighting after an overhaul. Tough to see, but got all three burners lighting. Having a reverse pressure problem with pump to work through.
