Hi, I recently purchased a pair of S.S. Burner caps from a S. Korean ebay seller, kkn 4602, for about $20 USD, delivered.

I tried them out this afternoon on my Radius No.6 stove fitted with a regulated silent burner:

The burner caps arrived, well packed, by airmail. They appear to be of good quality, and are well finished, with no burrs or irregularities around the holes.

The caps performed well with this stove.

The last photo shows that the caps are new no more.

Needless to say I have no connection with the Seller.

    Best Regards,
    Kerophile.

I've used these caps on Primus, Hipolito and Companion stoves. I like them!

    Cheers

Damnation! I can't find these caps anywhere for any price.......and I desperately needed them for my Optimus 111 triple-fuel!

    @rattinox

If you can't get any caps from someone here that lives in the US, I'll send you some.

Or, have you tried "The Base Camp" (UK)?

    Cheers

    Tony

Many thanks to both Peter and Tony! Since Peter is on this side of the Pond, I'll send a PM later.

Base Camp seems to have every conceivable Optimus part known......thanks again, Tony!!

Now, if I can only get A&H to fix the alcohol underburning problem with my 111, I'll be back in the BWCA or Quetico before the snow flies......maybe.

Maybe a new thread that addresses that issue.

I've already done plenty of detailed research on the problem, which did generate a thread or two.
For the time being, I'm going to switch over my 111 to white gas. I'll be fine with that until it starts to consistently get below freezing, then I'll have no choice but to ship my Optimus to A&H for a re-build. I'll have to buy a Coleman 533 til the Optimus returns.

I do a lot of "winter camping", and I use alcohol fuel throughout the cold season, which is about 9 friggin' months of the year here in MN

Pete- I was unable to PM your user name, probably due to the fact that I'm not a paid Member yet, but I will be.

I'd like to buy a set of outer and inner caps.

Gave my Optimus one last chance to behave with alcohol fuel, but no improvement- I didn't expect any. Plus the "fuel gushing" syndrome........back to A&H it goes, and may they improve it's attitude!

Fuel gushing tells me it didn't prime enough. Usually the alcohil flame blows out.
    Can you post photos?
