@scouterjan have you tried brewing a pot of Joe with it? I bought one to go with my Porta-Flame but haven't gotten around to opening the box yet. I'm curious to know how well it works. It looks like the you grab the butane canister like a handle to pour the coffee. Ben
@presscall @z1ulike Once you start looking they're everywhere. Parasene from @gunsoo. 1960's? https://classiccampstoves.com/threads/parasene-picnic-stove.20456/
@Simes Yes, the Parasene’s one I have (old one on the left, contemporary one on the right). Calor collaborated with Primus to produce the large gas cart in the middle. Video killed the radio star.
Wish I'd read that when you originally posted it. Interesting the Parasene on the right has the domed profile rather than the straight pressed angled of the others. I've never watched MadMen but those publicity shots take some beating.
Just read the old thread and two comments sprung to mind. Then I kept going and saw I already made both way back then!
Ben the canister is empty so no.its a Lindal valve and apparently the cans are available in the US Jan
Well that does it. Tomorrow I'm going to look for the package that holds my Porta-Perk and try it out. I'll report back. Ben
