Optimus 111 Hiker - late 1980's - early 90's

    I have the following theory on this particular unit:
    It could be US military surplus from second half of 1990's. Optimus had a frame contract with DLA (Defence Logistics Agency) during this time, and thousands of stoves were sold. Most of them 111 Hiker (internally denominated 111USA for these orders), but also quite a few 8R Hunter. I think, but my memory might fail me, that we only fitted the instruction sticker in English inside the lid on these US military units of 111 Hiker. (The later 111C with the "cobra-burner" had these stickers in the lid as standard).
