@goldwinger11 When opening a hole in the top plate like a photo, the thermal power adjustment and the long-term use became stable. Four holes of 1.5 mm are opened at both ends of the generator. It may be okay only on the fuel cock side. I do not know. Orange fire at the time of adjusting the fire power disappeared, fine thermal power adjustment became possible. An unusual flame picture perhaps, but this is a shot of the paraffin-fired blue flame pre-heater on my Monitor Regal in operation. It works extraordinarily well, and whilst in operation it makes a lovely low-pitched burbling sound! Phil
