Ideas for cook stand for 71, 80 or 123

You don't overheat the stove?

 

When I say it can't v done I am referring to using the Optimus 80 or the primus 71 in a trangia pot stand and wind screen. I am not a fan of alcahol stoves because of their limitations for me. I much prefer the svea 123, primus 71, Optimus 80, stoves for me. I am not interested in using the trangia with its alcahol burner, only as a format for use with the 123,71,80, stoves

 

You might want to look at the Optimus Nova, with an adapter, to use in a Trangia. All kinds of cooking capability then. And you can still use the alcohol burner if you want.

Can you add some of what you want instead of mostly what you do not want? it is hard to determine what can help you.

 

I guess I'm in the wrong place I ask about pot stands for 3 specific stoves the svea 123,Optimus 80, and the primus 71. I'm not at all interested in alcahol stoves or pump up or modern stoves only the 123,71,80. The reference to a tragic was for the pot stand never the stove.

Maybe a cracker tin could be modified? Take the stoves to a grocery store and see what tins are the right size. Some appropriately cut holes and slots and some wires could be added for pot supports.

Something interesting might come in the tin that's the right size and you might find a new treat you like.

Before I fired the hobo with wood, I removed the stove

No kidding, I used it during a summer trip as the only stove and boiled a lot of water. No overheating.

I built a stove support sort of like that from an idea flatware caddy that will use the 71 or a alcahol stove or can be wood fired but even though it presented to overheating I was still a little apprehensive to use it long term

You probably have to change your file to *.jpg or *.jpeg. There is probably a setting on your phone (rather than converting it online somewhere).

I know that this site won’t upload *.png (used for screenshots, for example) but I adjusted my phone settings.

Sounds like a trip to the supermarket with a tape measure is due. Find a can of suitable dimensions & modify that. Doesn't matter what the can has in it, but if it's something tasty, it's a bonus.
