I bought a Coleman 431 stove and discovered that the on/off valve leaks when you turn it off. It appears to need a gasket of some type. Ant suggestions as to where I can get one?

I need an o-ring or gasket right at the on/off knob. Looks like it might be part # 13. Do you have the part number for that?
Hi, Ann, Did you click the link about the 431 leak at easi-lite valve? If not, you should do so. The part you mentioned is not an o-ring, but part #16 is the offender in the link I sent you. I do not have a 431, and so can offer no first hand advice about how to fix this problem. But, if you post your question over on the CCF site, in the link that I sent you, you should get a good answer to your questions. Have you taken your generator setup apart? If not, you're going to have to do so. Please look very hard at that particular link, as the question seems to have already been answered there. I had hoped one of our guys or gals with the 431 would show up, but it appears, so far, that no one here knows much about it. Good luck, and God Bless! Every Good Wish, Doc

HI, @Ann Honchell , Great! The 425 is a great little stove, and in fact, my wife and I still have, and sometimes use, the one we bought way back when we were first married! Still works wonderfully. But, it IS a tad small, sometimes, especially with two pots, of any size at all. If I may, I suggest you check out a 413G, or earlier. We use ours a good bit, and it works a treat! Also, if don't have one of the big 426, 3-burner Coleman stoves, do yourselves a favor, and seek out a good one!!! Fantastic stoves, with plenty of room for ovens, and/or several pots! With a 425, 413, and 426, there is very little you can't do, when it comes to cooking!! Take care, and God Bless! It's our family tradition, and that big Coleman is always up to the task!!
Canada is a big country. If we knew where you were located we could steer you to the nearest Coleman fanatic who would be more than happy to at least give you good advice or maybe even repair it . All this assuming you are in Canada. Ed

New to the forum Out of the 3 links for the 431 stove leaking issue the last one returns a site. I too have my 431 stove leaking from the brass block which the generator screws into. The o rings were very dry when I took them out. Does anyone have a size SAE or Metric? did i briefly end that the o rings were not the issue but something in the block is?
