    Greetings,

We were out at a friend's farm this weekend and found this out in their grove. It is not a camp stove. the frame is made of steel and has this aluminum pot that was supposed to feed some type of gas to the burners. Maybe this was for canning outside-I don't know. Probably should have left it in the grove but it traveled home with us.

If anyone in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Mn. area is feeling a need for a project, you can have this puppy for free. Let me know. Otherwise it may end up as a sculpture outside.

Again - this is heavy! Not meant to go in your backpack.

A fun stove. Shame that is so far to America.
Never seen one like it before

I was thinking it was too Ken. Gravity fed, annular wick, but burner parts missing. Purpose, farm incubator heater or some such.

They certainly had chickens out there. The chicken coop is still standing and in good shape so an incubator heater is a good guess. What could those slide things possibly be for?

Hard to say, but I suspect that the whole unit slid into a housing of some sort to provide a chimney draught for the burners. Perhaps those components engaged with chimney flue bases?
