Primus 41 scam

    This morning there were 2 NOS Primus 41's posted on the Bay for auction but with a BIN price listed in the description for $3000 each. A few hours later they were gone. Looks like the "seller" used the exact same photos from this sale. Hopefully they were reported and nobody was taken.

    Thanks, very sad, the scammers have realised that people are willing to part with good money for these stoves.
    We are now a target, I hope no one iwas scammed by that one.

    If you get taken on Ebay they pick up the tab. The seller looked legit has been around for awhile

    I spent a good 30 minutes on ebay live chat reporting this auction as it appeared to not be an auction at all. On photo four this was what was seen.

    Possibly but all the positive feedback was from purchases not from any sales I could find.

    Looks to be a scam no way for ebay to collect there fees. What did they tell you?

    Ahh..... so the seller has spent a bit of time setting this up, did he purchase cheap stuff just to get feed back?

    Same "seller" doing the same game with some high dollar Coleman lanterns. Ebay will catch up with them sooner or later and block account.
