This months them is a battle between 4 iconic models in the 'L' variant. That's the stove & the tin as it came from the manufacturer - not an aftermarket biscuit tin etc. A chance to showcase the stove & it's tin. The four model's are the Primus 210L, Optimus 00L, Radius 21L & Svea 121L.
Please see rules below - please note increase in picture allowance this month to show off the tins!

Post your nomination as a reply to this post.

    The rules.
    • Stove must feature in the Stove Reference Gallery (SRG) with a link posted in the entry. So now's the time to get those stoves photographed & posted! If it's been listed for years already that is ok too.
    • Maximum of 5 pictures in the entry. The pictures must show the stove working & in it's entirety. More pictures can of course be shown in the linked SRG entry - as many as you want!
    • Stove must be presently owned by the member.
    • One entry per member.
This nominations post will be open for the month of February. At the end of the month the post will be closed & the qualifying stoves placed in a blind poll for members to vote for. The poll will remain open for 1 week. Most votes is the winner.

The winner will get a SotM Winner notation on their posts & profile & a £10 voucher code from The Fettlebox

    Good luck & have fun

    I think this stove is a «stejar type 2»

If anyone has the Optimus 00 in the Egyptian desert motif tin, then post it. Chances are high you will get at least one vote... ;)

Not me alas, Staffan, but the worthy 00 surely should be represented in this month’s competition and THIS Optimus 00L from 1960 appeals nevertheless.

Its former owner used the tin’s storage capacity to good effect - stove components and wrench, all the paperwork and an unused set of spare parts with prickers.
