I recently picked up a Coleman A-47 530 stove with a damaged valve stem. I'm planing on ordering some parts from www.oldcolemanparts.com. The diagram there shows the stem as 530-6531 which is no longer available. While there is a couple of pictures of valve stems that seem to be the same there, they couldn't tell me if they would actually work. I'm sure that there must be a stem from a lantern that would work. I'm hoping someone may be able to identify from the attached pic, a lantern stem that is the same. Notice the point on the end, I don't know if all Coleman stems have this type of end.
No longer available only means out of production by Coleman. Do the valves shown match yours? If so, can order the whole thing or find a donor. I have not heard if a lantern valve stem will work, they may be too long. Duane

OR use the contact feature on the OCP website and ask Rob. He may have a used one that isn't listed. AT OCP if you don't find what you need always ask. If he's out of stock he takes it off the site, that doesn't mean he won't get more in a short time.
I've actually emailed back and forth with Rob a couple of times. He sent me a pic of this one but it's about 1/4" too short and the tip isn't quite as pointed.
That looks like the stem for a suitcase or other stove that has a screw-in long pricket rood. If you can't find one contact deanofid on the CCF and ask if he can repair it for you. Dean is a master machinist who has saved many of us from similar situations. Great guy to deal with.
I agree to ask Dean, he has helped me 3 or 4 times now and looking to reach him again with another project.
Not being able to find a replacement stem, I decided to see what I could do to repair the broken one. I pulled the stem out of a 220 lantern and cut off the splined end. Then squared it off, as well as the end of the damaged stem and soldered them together with some high strenth Bridgit solder.
