    Okie-Dokie! Even though most of you have seen this one before, it's too good a stove not to enter it in this contest: our much beloved Clayton and Lambert #3

    Here is it at a past CASG event.

    And, here are Mr. and Mrs Flivver, back when they first found and bought this stove (at a swap meet!) from whom we bought this stove!

    Murphy's with C & L Stove.jpg

    This stove will always be a favorite of ours, just as it was a favorite for the Flivvers!! Thanks for checking it out, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc and Sweet Bride (who says this is HER stove!)

    @Doc Mark ,
    What date is the photo?
    And what is that lamp behind you two?
    Regards.

    @Sellig33 the lantern is a Coleman 427 probably from middle/late 1920.

    @Sellig33,

    The Clayton and Lambert #3 dates to between 1926-1929, as it is marked "Patent Pending", and the Patent was applied for in 1926, and granted in 1929. The Coleman lantern about which you asked, is a QL327, I believe, which dates to the mid-1920's. From what I recall, the photo of Mike and his lovely wife, was taken in the mid-1970's, or soon thereafter. Maybe Mike, (@flivver ) can correct me if I am in error about that. And, here is the link in the Stove Reference Gallery for this stove, after we got it from Mike.

    Clayton & Lambert #3 in action, at CASG 9, etc.

    It's a grand stove, and a pure joy on which to cook! Thanks for asking about it, and the lantern and photo. Take care, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc

    I'm enjoying this month's entries, just outstanding. No idea which way to vote yet.

    I agree 100%. I thought about entering but the competition is too stiff this month.

    Re: enjoying this month's entries...I couldn't agree more! Outstanding entries. I don't think I'll even vote for my own stove!
