Well said, and needs to be repeated often.

Just a heads up to say I’ve spent the last 3hrs scrolling through many posts within forum that mention the No 9
I asked for help on a couple of questions in a previous post and it appears the answers were already here.
I know I’m the new kid on the block and I get the uneasy feeling that I’ve possibly ruffled some feathers on some of you, I apologise if I have but that was not my intention to do so, I fully understand that owning a No 9 is quite precious and I’m looking forward to getting it all cleaned up and back burning away as it should.
    Kind regards
    Joe

    Hi Joe,

I replied you about parts availability, so not sure to which questions you didn’t get the answer.

Consider that not every post is viewed by the members that can have a ready answer for any question, especially for the historical ones.

So just be a little patient and as you did in the meanwhile make your search, because often many answers are already here.

If you have any additional doubt please ask again and we will try to help you out.

Members here can just have a genuine envy for your score, but nobody would ignore you just for this reason. We are all passionate and collaborative persons ;)

    Nicola

Ruffled feathers Only out of jealousy and that should always be blamed on the jealous one. Not the one who had the luck.
This stove is one of the holy grails of stove collecting.

No ruffled feathers here, just misunderstandings.

Oh, stuff it. No jealousy, just an observation on human nature. Where are the ruffled feathers again? I'm always happy to see people get great deals. Collectors and hipsters don't add anything to a hobby other than higher prices, that much is true. Many websites prohibit "How much is it worth?" posts because of that, and "For Sale" is highly regulated, etc.

I'm gratified the members of this forum are made of a better alloy. Really.

I'm sorry to say I have no further info on the No. 9. I can only suspect that it was not manufactured for long. Also, the war may have changed priorities on the offerings.
