Greetings, everyone, Today I want to show another Optimus No 1S from my collection; this time I tried to date it more precisely and seems to me, that it comes from the period 1925 - 1926. There are some differecies between this one presented today and this one presented previously. I bought it in a very good shape, regarding it's age. Let's start: Original roaring burner: and a dimpled spirit bowel: Screw vent: and filler cap ( both sides identically stamped ) : The stamp on the side wall of the tank: And on it's bottom ( export version ? ): No other tamps present. Works like new Thanks for watching. CU
@Stanisław Grajewski thanks for sharing another very nice classic! This in particular is very interesting for the unusual bottom stamping… so most probably a very well preserved Optimus made in Poland. Cheers, Nicola
@Nicola Francesco Elia Or made in Sweden for Polish market ( not even a single Polish word on stamps ) Cheers Stanisław
@Stanisław Grajewski these stoves are probably made in the Optimus factory opened in Danzig around 1922. Correct @gieorgijewski ? Nicola
