    Hello

    i don’t know if I can post a such subject on the forum. So if it does not respect the rules please delete it.
    I created one year ago a mini oven. It works like an Omnia (but the Omnia is like a Palestinien oven…). I called this mini oven the apple oven. It was design for one or two persons and it works great with the small stoves like the Optimus 8 or Svea 123 or baby Enders. It works with the Trangia alcohol burner, with a classic gas canister stove or even on a wood stove.
    Here are some photos.

    @Tony Press I used stainless steel for bowls, nuts and bolts, aluminum for the mold, brass for the button of the lid. Weight : 370g.

    Very nice, it opens up scope for a lot of creativity for little extra weight and space to carry!

    No rules broken - an interesting & obviously successful project! However if you wish to advertise it for sale please put any links, purchasing info in The Trading Post.

    I was/am still tempted to get one but my culinary skills are limited. Your video's I've seen on facebook make it looks so simple!

    Nice little oven you got there, very packable. Got me motivated to try out this idea. Heat defuser with cover. Thinking both would work well heating leftovers or other prepared foods too.

    I like that size and your lifting tool :thumbup:

    I did something similar, I wanted something smaller than the Omnia Oven, this is what I came up with:
    Two pet food bowls, two ring cake pans and a hardware store drawer pull knob.

    Corn Bread.jpg
    I may open the steam holes a little more to help with top browning.
    It just fits in a 1 gallon Zip lock bag for packing.

    @Yannick Michel, thank you!

    Three layers of foil and a rack made from an old hot dog fork in the bottom pan and a splash of water.

    The last loaf burned the least so far.
