I have just bought an interesting stove. It is clearly an Erich & Graetz stove, branded HEKLA. I find only one other Hekla stove here at CCS Hirschhorn "Hekla" That is a collapsible model, while mine has fixed pan supports. Otherwise, the burner is replaced with a Svea roarer burner. And the filler cap is from Norwegian Fuhrmeister. The pump and air screw may be original, I think. Does anyone know more about this one, which burner and filler cap were the original ones? Info, History of Petromax its a common mistake: After a short time Graetz separated from his partner Johann Simon and joined Emil Ehrich on October 20, 1865 as registered manager in his Berlin company "Emil Ehrich - Handlung mit Lampen und Metalldruckwaren" at Dresdener Str. 77. On 1.1.1866 Albert Graetz became an associate partner and the company changed its name to "Ehrich & Graetz OHG". and In 1928 the "AIDA Gesellschaft für Beleuchtung und Heizung GmbH" (Company for lighting and heating Ltd.) was founded. This company took over from J.Hirschhorn AG, which had belonged to R.Frister AG since 1923, the complete "trading business with lighting and radiators for liquid fuels". 1/6 of the partners in this company were Hans Pahl, Max Graetz's son-in-law and 5/6 J.Hirschhorn AG. Managing directors were Hans Pahl and Julius Fürstenheim, the grandson of Jakob Hirschhorn. On the same day, J.Hischhorn AG sold all shares to Ehrich & Graetz AG. With this new company, Ehrich & Graetz AG secured access to all relevant tools, employees, sales channels, patents and trademarks of J.Hirschhorn AG, especially the "AIDA" brand.
