What's wrong with asking question, possibly askt before?
Last 12 ours CCS delete 4 post from this forum. What is wrong with them, I wonder?
I have shared a lot from my collection into CCS. So why could I not make an simpel question back on the CCS sites. I have asket them to ccs nembers, but it seems to be deleted:rage:just because I have them asked

    Your question is still there.
    Look here.

But the exact same question was asked in a couple of other places.
In other topics, so this one which actually was placed as a question of its own was kept.

No big deal. But it's no point in asking exactly the same thing in several places. It's easier for both you and all other if it is just one topic to concentrate on.

Hope you will get an answer about the colour code in your own topic.

Well, as you say, its not a big deal. I saw the question was asked before, but I just think it coukd be asked a couple more. They were not asked at the same day, week or month, as I was able to see

Are you now, or have you ever been, a member of any propane advocacy organizations? You may have run afoul of CCS security investigation, at a guess.

There’s no need to get cross about what happened. One of the roles of a Moderator is to keep the site tidy and functional.

I am a long term user of this site, and others, and one of the best things about CCS and CPL is that the Moderators keep posts on topic, and often reduce multiple copies of the same posts in different parts of the forum(s).

With full transparency, I reported your post of those photos that were in the Reference Gallery because one of the “guiding principles” of the Reference Gallery is that each thread should be about a single or particular item. I thought yours should be split from that particular Reference Gallery thread that you added to, and put in a thread of its own. The decision about that is up to the Moderator.

It’s also not useful for receiving good advice from the CPL community to have the same post in different places. It’s then hard for others to work out whether your question has been answered or not.

Your question is a good one, and I look forward to the answer.

@Christer Carlsson is a great Moderator and would, I’m sure, be very happy to answer any questions you have about how the site is constructed/used.

You’ve obviously got some great stoves to show us.

    Cheers

    Tony

There must be some misunderstanding here:roll:, my first thaught, but no.
But thank you for your feedback on my frusration!
Now I understand it is this way, it is not allowed to ask the same question into more than one person's topic, and not put photos on their topics. I see the posibillity to contact outside their topic at CCS.

    That's not quite it...

I'll get back to you when I finish posting my stove.

There's a great way to get multiple people to respond to a question and that is to post your topic and use the "@" function to tag people by their user name. Of course it only works for those people who are still on the site, but it does mean that all the answers end up in one place.

    Happy stoving.

    Cheers

The way you describe it, is exactly the way I have done it for 17 years!
So far, it has been a pleasure to read messages from other members, post photos and reply to members.
Suddenly my interess in original color, with question over this issue into two different persons topic with the same interess get this issue reported.
I now I should be happy not get the last topic I maid around Juwel 33 colors deleted
I am happy for yours responce to my frustration, but I did not understand your explanation on what I did wrong. And I did not understand your explanation in your first coment, on how I should have done it.
    Thanks anyway!

Aye - no issue with the moderation. While thread drift is happily tolerated fresh questions of this nature are best asked on a standalone thread. Best to keep any responses in that thread.

Tony, first of all thank you for your kind words.

That was the idea, but then Skauvill actually made a standalone thread with the very same question, so it was perfect to leave that one, and just remove the other.

Skauvill, all questions you made in the reference gallery were directed to people who either has passed away or hasn't visited the site for over ten years, so your direct question to those wouldn't help you any way.
Your last, standalone thread, will be better to attract peoples attention since the question also is seen in the title (which it of course isn't when made as a post in an already ongoing topic), and if someone know the colour code, they wil most likely help you out.
You might perhaps also try on some of the German forums if you won't get a good answer here. But I see that Spritburner has given you a good tip.

Skauvill, Ziradog was just posting a humorous clip as a response to Fettlers comment.
I can't see that it was 'aimed' at you in any way.
And not Fettlers earlier comment either. Just a funny input to ease things up a bit.

A problem with international foras is that some things just don't translate perfectly well across language barriers, but I'm sure no one here was being disrespectful to you in any way.
On the contrary! You are an old and valued member, and everyone knows it.

One problem I have had with reports and edited posts/threads has been the lack of communication in some situations. The alert is a limited system.
    Ruffled feathers resulted.

I have to agree with you on that one! I think I wood vave a better day, if I had been contactet in advance aboat all my fouls, and "tried" to explain what shood have been a better way to ask my question's, and then delete. I might also awoid the video with such bad humorius
But off course, the moderators have to do their job, so they shood feel free to delete members wrong placed topics

    I am done!
