This Radius No.21 I am dating to around 1925. This stove matches the earliest No.21 ‘Type 1’ designated by @stejar in his well-researched 2012 post. ‘Slots and hatch’ type windshield. ‘Radius’ is stamped on the flame spreader ring. Tank stamping. Burner stamping. Parallel knurling on the filler cap and pressure release screw. Filler cap stamping. Pump cap stamping. Reserve cap parallel knurling. Burner hex nut stamping. ‘Radius Shooting Star’ stamping. Tank side stamping. Pump knob and cap knurling. No discernible manufacturer stamp on the tank’s base. Early design Radius tin. I do favor my avatar stove, an Optimus 00. Have used it on many a hike. I've also used my Svea 121. I regard the one-pinters as the true hiking stoves! I actually don't quite remember if I have a Radius 21. It's been a looong time since I've been down in my version of the Hobbit hole....
