For those who have been using Trangia’s (or other alcohol stoves for that matter) for decades it is well known that the first brew takes a tad longer than the second…simple really – first brew the burner has to “bloom”. When you put the second pot or kettle on for a second or subsequent brew – the “bloom” is not far off instantaneous.
