I am presently thinking of acquiring this "warmer". Anybody have some ideas as to what fuel ( charcoal?) is used. Also I have seen a few pics of similar items but usually missing a few bits. Is this one somewhat whole? And what does it "warm"...food, hands, other?

Warms the cockles of your heart, which is the best I can come up with at the moment.

Upon further research it seems to be a carriage foot warmer, charcoal fired.
