Optimus No 1S

Hello I'm new here. Here are some pictures of my Optimus No1S stove that I found in a metal recycling bin some years back. I've been fixing it slowly as I've had time and Just recently got it working. I would like help dating this.

First test melting some snow at -15C burning a mixture of kerosine and gasoline

Edit: I hope you don’t have too much gasoline mixed with the kerosene.

Can't really see the flame since it was bright out but it's glowing nicely.

 

I think the mix was about 1 part gas to 4 or 5 parts kerosene.

 

Might have been that small engine aspen stuff too I take it there is a difference

Dating Optimus can be a challenge. Yours also has other details, all inline w/same year range but for me it is your filler cap / "globe lid" that says:
*early 1920s -to- NLT 1932 (NLT: Not Later Than) source

*I stand by that but last i checked (link makes mention), that range might get better defined.
