    Hi all
Stumbled on this on marketplace, deceased estate etc. Has to be the most complete example of what I'm assuming is an Aussie 1/2 pint stove this being the vendors description based on what they were told. The trivet is missing but it may not have been supplied with one, the instructions show a stove with trivet and silent burner cap. I have a modified burner cap which simply sits on top of the burner which has three notches to accomodate it.
That being said, the burner spanner is stamped "Burmos" and "British".
I can't find a mention of this particular variant online. I.E Aluminium case and modified burner cap.
The instructions depict a silent burner cap and a trivet.
Very confusing, as it doesn't seem to have any makers stamps or names on it.
Anyway, I think a standard leather will fit, although the hole in the original is smaller I can adapt one to fit. see pic

Really outstanding example. Hard to find a complete kit in such order.

Hi @Rod Bowers, there are a few of these Parasene outfits about, they are British made. A search for 'Zora burner' should answer some questions, the Burmos spanner has sneaked in from elsewhere.

Here's a similar outfit, and another.

Not the most common stove, thanks for adding to the collective knowledge.

Not an Australian stove but a great example of one of the several versions of the Parasene 'Safety' Pressure Stoves and in an interesting kit. A real winner once restored.

Or leave it in its current beautiful original condition while replacing the consumable service parts to ensure reliability.

Gday all, thanks for the feedback.
After I posted yesterday? I had a good look at the lightly cleaned burner and Lo and behold "Zora" it is. LOL
Should have done this then posted, anyway the spanner is a ring in, good to know, this would have put me off the track.
Now soaking a small leather to see if I can make it work.
    Keep you posted
    Cheers

Gday all, updates to this fettle include:
1 - seized leaking, NRV valve .... the end cap detached when I applied too much force to the NRV, hence removal of pump tube. the pics show the NRV soldered into a brass fitting for removal.... The damn thing is seized in solid, may have to butcher it out then a new one HMMMMM parasene half pint 4.JPG parasene half pint 5.JPG
2 - preheat cup not sealing to top of stove due to being over size, not sure how to deal with this. Pictures also show the poor construction of this with several bulges in the cup. The result here is that she leaks pressure from under the cup.
3 - A minute crack in the tank, hope you can see it in the pics, probably solder this up.
4 - Having to reattach all the legs, I'll make a jig to do this, as it happens the legs were not straight anyway so a blessing in disguise.
Cheers all keep you posted parasene half pint 1.JPG parasene half pint 2.JPG parasene half pint 3.JPG

NRV now out, pics show what looks suspiciously like thread lock (see pics) on the threads and the base HMMMMM????
Dunno, anyway no lead washer, it will be fitted with one.
NRV pip was horrible, hopefully pics will show this.
Now in the process of reassembly.
    Cheers all

The pump valve seal looks like the original cork item to me, these often revive of soaked in oil or can sometimes be reversed to get a few more decades out of them.

The spirit cup should have a heat resistant fibre washer above and below it to seal- search the forum for 'burner washers'.

Is the tank definitely stress cracked, or is it a tooling mark? Not doubting you, just interested as the larger sized Parasene stoves are generally good quality in this respect.

All the best with getting it back together!

Gday Blackdog, the pump valve seal ( I called it a PIP) is a rubbery material, not cork.
This is a 1/2 pint stove, and yes the crack may only be on the surface.
As to the quality, it shows other manufacturing blemishes. The pic shows where the pressure relief/cutoff valve stem has been melted when it was brazed on at the factory, too much heat in the wrong place.
Anyway I'm not trying to blacken Parasene's reputation LOL just imparting information.
Now making a jig to reattach the legs at the correct angle.
    Cheers
