I found this untagged PW model 4 with an internal tank in Wisconsin Rapids.
    Has anyone seen one before? 20240803_174241.jpg 20240803_174255.jpg 20240803_174111.jpg 20240803_173433.jpg

I've seen a few #4's posted over at the Coleman Collectors Forum, but not sure if I've seen an internal tank one.

    Have seen internal tank two-burners.

    Dang nice stove there!

Those burners take a LOT of preheat, fill that cup all the way with alcohol.

I preheated it really well after I cracked the valve open and saw that stream of fuel. I posted it on a few Facebook forums and nobody has seen one but there are some patent drawings and print ads.

There are several single burner PW like yours. I do not recall an internal tank model.

There are several variations of this stove.
Half vs whole tank. Wagon wheels vs Skate key. Etc.
    Nice find.

Model 3, circa 1917. That year PW used an internal fuel tank covered with a form of heat shield with a street elbow coming outside of the stove body with combination fuel cap with an air stem. 1 year only. I used to have a Model 2 with 2-brnrs using this identical set-up. Sold it years ago not realizing what I really had till I learned more about it after the fact.
