This has been done before but here's my version.
The soldering around the pump tube was leaking bad, so i thought that cleaning the surfaces and retinning was a must.

I made a thingamabob to hold/handle the pump tube.
An old defective NRV and a piece of 5mm steel was brassed together. And crooked it is

A slight heat with a torch and out it went

    Heres the crummy soldering

    Thorough cleaning and retinning

Resolder and clean with steel wire brush

Water test and no bubbles :D/

Some cleaning is needed but now she works again
