Bought a Svea 16 in Copenhagen last week, and after polishing away like some manic Alladdin, I'd like to know when the logo changed from the Sievert ray-logo to the King of Stoves shield. I'm hoping that mine, though a little care-worn, is 1910s rather than 1920s. Any help gratefully received. Peter
Before the 'The King of Stoves' came 'The Best Stove in the World' slogan The Best Stove in the World Like hikerduane's said, the Svea 'starburst' logo was on the stoves as well as the 'Best Stove' or 'King of Stoves' strapline. You'd expect a really early Svea 16 to have a tubular burner of the pattern on this stove of Gunsoo's, if you were lucky, because it might have had a burner change to something more modern during its long life Gunsoo's Svea 16 John
