    Hi, Rik, and FP,

Great point, Rik! Like you, I think FP has one of the very best stoves he can get, and especially for his purposes. If forced to choose one stove, and one stove only, I would very probably choose either a 111T, or my new 111C, and would be as happy as a pig in poop!! ;) If a 111 was my only stove, I would even use it for backpacking. I'd take it out of it's case, and then cut and snip a Sigg Tourist cookset, so I could use the 111 with it, and in that way cover the backpacking base, too!! Great stoves, the 111 series!!! Take care, and God Bless!

    Guys,

Don't worry. I didn't even feel that way. I feel that I've found the right place to join instead. :)

Also my apology for poor English. In previous post I meant to joke with you guys in case someone trying to manipulate me to get my 111C cheap (via Ebay). I know you didn't mean that and sure I'll never let go this great little stove.

At first I thought about getting the Coleman 533 dual fuel but then I've seen several reviews talking about the explosion accident with that type. Then I've found the beatiful SVEA from REI.com but the heat output is much lower than Coleman breifcase multifuel one. That will not serve my purpose. After reading many reviews, I switched to the
111C cause it has the same BTU as Coleman with much smaller footprint. Remember I don't have much room in the condo so smaller is better.

You're right that it's like everything else that you need to get to know it first in order to pull its full capacity. Now I just need more time to play with it.

BTW, leather replacement from A&H costs $6.95 while the whole parts kit is $19.95 (#2817 with tank lid packing, graphite packing, valve spindle, metal ring, stuffing box, pump leather cup, cleaning needle, A&M jets and priming wick). Did I read anything wrong here? Anybody know how many leather cup for that $6.95? Again if I buy each of the parts above separately from A&H it'll cost me $44.45. :!: :!: :?:

    Hey, Lance,

Not to worry, I ain't gettin' tight, just wondering what I said that might have been construed as an insult. Shows I'm getting old, as your joke went right over my head!  ;) And, hey, we pigs LIKE poop, especially if we have a nice stove to warm it on a cold morning, such as we're having!! 8) Glad to know I didn't _really_ insult Flying Pig, though. Hey, we're Pig Brothers!! ;) Take care, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc Mark (oink, oink)

Thank you Lance, I'll PM you my address.

I'm from Bangkok, Thailand. Just moved here in late 99 after spent 12 years in Japan for study and work. I used to have this oldie kero heater when I was there.
