I just found this along with a few lamps on a recent trip into North Wales. My interest is in the lamp parts but the stove base is a Primus 53. Looks rough but is actually sound. Some vandal had cut the burner off and soldered in the Tilley valve unit. There were also two rods soldered to the side of the tank to make a handle but one was already broken off and the solder on the other was about to give way as well so I removed the whole handle. I was only mildly interested in the stove but when I looked it appears to be a rather uncommon model so is probably worth restoring with a replacement burner and a set of legs. Not by me though because I have lamps to work on. ::Neil::
I will try to remember to add it for Newark. We will only be able to visit on the Saturday for a few hours but I will be taking a few items for people to drool over and maybe a stove or two for disposal. ::Neil::
