Allanter Leisure Products ALP made this stove for the American market where it was sold as the Rich Moore 7000 remote canister stove rather than the ALP 7010. Apparently in 1974 it cost a not inconsiderable £14.95. Here is the valve atrached directly to a modern isobutane/propane canister And the alternative... The valve The stove attaches by screwing into the valve. The assembly for piercing cartridges As might be expected the burner is a bit overwhelmed using a modern isobutane/propane mix if turned up but not so bad turned lower. On butane though it was a much better result. The only issue now is the valve must remain on the pierceable cartridge assembly until that is empty. Rob.
@gnome yes it works rather nicely as the intended market was the US, although equally well for the UK or New Zealand.
