Another double stamp !

What is it with me and double stamping ? First there was my Meta 550 overstamp, and now the Brits were doing it also..

 

My self, i think you go looking for these things.

either give up drinking then you won't shake so much or buy a tripod
or are you only collecting double stampers

 

Isn't that cast lettering ? - not stamped ?

If it is then it is a rarity to get that on a casting - it can only mean that the pattern for the casting has been mould twice - possibly as the first attempt had imperfections elsewhere ( possibly around any edges ) .

If it is stamped then my eyes are going funny !

 

Curious! Flame spreader ring?

 

The next stove i see on E bay i want, the first thing i will do is ask the seller "are there any double stampings on the stove"

Yes Ross it is a flame spreader ring

This stamping was cacked in crud and muck when i recieved the stove, so a citric suprise for me !!

 

Looking at it now it's more obvious - it was titchy on the phone screen!

 

Hey !! do you want to sell your keyboard ??

 

As if reading all this with one leg of my glasses missing isn't hard enough allready!!
