This is my first Bat. Found it today, unfortunately the outer flame ring is missing - as usual. I don't know how old, but I think it is relatively young. From the 70s - 80s? Marked with «Made in Germany» and Bat, nothing more. The tank is in brass, but the bottom are brass-coated steel.
The tank was full of loose rust, and the NRV was stuck. When I tried to take it out, it broke. My homemade NRV-tool gave me too much power! So another great day maybe I'll desolder and take out the pump tube and change the NRV.
But that's why I can't get the pressure up so I could test the stove.

Picture above shows my homemade NRV tool, and the nut for the stuck NRV

The trivet is fine without rust, with a little patina from previous use.
If anyone has an original flame ring to sell me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi @Magne Fahre Nice well made stove Magne and good fettle i like your sturdy home made NRV tool, i dont think your home made tool to remove the NRV is at fault, the NRV was most likely so seized in or so stuck a standard NRV tool probably not moved it, would have probably just slipped of and damaged the end of the NRV

    Thank you @mr optimus :content:
Yes, I agree about the NRV and the tool. When I started fettling these stoves I quickly realized that I needed a better tool. I use it a lot.

Your welcome @Magne Fahre i have two NRV tools made by a member on here, a smaller size that fits snugly into a pump tube like a half pint and a larger that fits snugly in a larger pump tube and they are excellent never slip off a NRV damaging it
