My Primus 210, being a 1962 model, did not come with a tin. My clever wife took pity on me and made this carry pouch for me. The burner and the pricker have their own pouches for protection. The material is an outdoor waterproof fabric that could be used for outdoor seat covers. The very bottom compartment has the pot legs and wrench underneath the tank.

Cheers to your wife, well done. Classy little spirit bottle, too.

That sure beats a used plastic ice-cream container (which is compact and lightweight enough, and free, but otherwise rather poor)! One of my Primus 210s came without a tin too so thanks for the tip - I might try a hint or two and see if something "turns up" :D

Horizontal-opening padded lunch bags work super! I use one for my 111B and one for my 00.

Good advice there Basil, I know old-style biscuit tins are also a good option but these days they are not so common and original "classic" ones go for big money on eBay as collectors items....

Ok, taking a hint from @HONDA here and getting your own sewing machine skills honed is to use old tea towels. There is a bit of a movement for making up useful stuff and there are some nice printed ones out there and easily quilted for protecting precious items.
