    20160714_185539.jpg 20160714_185639.jpg Hello everyone,
    I'm new to CCS, but I read the posts for a long time, although I do not understand English well ...
    I recently found this great stove, enameled cast iron two burners, definitely French, but I can find no documentation to identify it. It is very heavy (more than 10 kgs)
    In addition, it has a very burners original system, I have never seen elsewhere
    Maybe someone can tell played on stove?

    Welcome @Serge.

    Beautiful stove and unusual burners as you say. You seem to have successfully pressurised the fuel tank, judging by that stream of fuel (or maybe it's water?)

    Presumably the stove is an Ideal model No.12 and breveté means 'patented'.

    the liquid flow is ... water! because I do not know if these burners run on gasoline or kerosene?
    That's why I look for information on the origin and the manufacturer of the stove

    @Serge
    There are air release screws at the pump end of each fuel tank which suggest kerosene is the fuel.

    Priming the burners would probably have been by a 'fork' clamped to the burner riser tubes connecting them to the tank.

    Vaporisation would have been maintained by those copper rods conducting heat from the burner flames to the jet mounting tube.

    @Serge bienvenue sur CCS !
    I can't help you on fuel choice, but I think you can trust experimented users, as @presscall .
    The safer way, in case of doubt, is trying the less flammable fuels first, I think.

    @presscall might be right, it could be a kerosene stove preheated with forks. However, the lack of the usual priming cups and the size of that water stream makes me think it might be an alcohol stove. Just speculating of course. Perhaps it was preheated by burning some alcohol poured over the burner head. Alcohol vaporizes much easier than kerosene so it wouldn't take much to get it going. Either way it is one of the nicest stoves ever posted here. Thanks.

    That burner looks more alcohol as well. Presurised alcohol stoves though are not common.
    Unless someone says yes it is X I would try kero first then alcohol then gasoline although caution required for option 3 if you get that far

    An interesting Gallic' twist on vapourisation of paraffin.

    Instead of having the fuel tubes in the burner head it's needed a separate pre heater due to tube size and will run continually.

    Pre heating is interesting question if the main burners can be controlled until primed?

    Apologies to late to edit previous post.

    Just reviewed your post @presscall and if that's solid copper rod and not what I thought as a flame pre heater it'll be doing a lot of heat transfer to boil paraffin.
