Hi members , I picked up this stove which I never seen before or seen name Moha . Says made in Germany . took it out of box did standard cap seal and new pump seal , flushed it out with kerosene and tank was clean , filled it again , primed it and pumped , there is good pressure when pumping and flame when burning but short time later flame and pressure drops. can’t see any non return valve in pump tube And the fuel tank has a different connection in it . The stove is holding pressure when pumping but keeps cutting out and pressure gone . where is the non return valve and do I need special tool for the fitting inside the fuel tank . im totally baffled by this stove Hat is the correct service pack to use on this stove And any idea about a date and who made it
It would be good to see some pictures. There is a @Nicola Francesco Elia stove here in the gallery that has NRV in the filler Moha 1. Maybe in your case it is missing there?
Hello, as @Knee said Moha stoves have pump NRV accessible from the filler cap. Be aware that it’s very easy to break them if you try to unscrew them with a flat screwdriver, they can be really stuck. Please @Jim Hayes share some photos of the stove so we can see. Thanks, Nicola
Been trying to upload pictures but unable But the burner head is same as some pictures I see and is so called a lighthouse burner
Jim very very nice! The NRV of the pump is this one into the filler: using a flat screwdriver could break the brass that is very delicate, so be careful, be sure that the valve cap is not too stuck. Nicola
Thanks for the message I sure will not even try remove or touch this as I know nothing about the fitting . But it definitely pumping fuel and burner is working good until it drops in pressure I just took out of the box for a try and now emptied the fuel and it’s all back in the box again . Never seen this set up before so definitely will not do anymore with it .
