    HI, Gunsoo,

Excellent!! I've love one of those MSR Prototype stoves, but alas, the prices over here are just too high for my pocketbook, most of the time. Maybe someday one will come to live here, and I'm a patient man! Congratulations on scoring yours, and for sharing it here!! Looks great! Take care, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Mark

Hiking Jim has one of these but I am almost sure he has not fired it.

So good to see a flame shot. Also interesting to see that I think it has two gas jets supplying flame.

Goodness me! I thought these stoves were so rare they only existed as limited prototypes therefore no spares availability after the project was shelved by the US Army. You have been bold enough to actually light yours!

As the US Army had what was essentially kerosene - (JP8) I wonder if a wick-fed burner would work if used with the same tank: An enlarged version of the SVEA 123/Primus #71 kind of burner.

Chua! Looks very small and cute. I like it. Seems to be really efficient with the windscreen. I am interested to see this come to market if it has not already been produced for civilians.

No one can find a problem with it and no one is saying why more were never made.

I guess that MSR don't want something that competes with other established models in the MSR range.
Then there's the matter of the capilliary thingie. or whatever the proper name... I believe another article mentioned that the technology meant paying a licence fee to the inventor.
When will they learn that you don't need complication or delicate parts where a military field stove is concerned.
As far as I am concerned they want a something like a Optimus 111 (roarer type), scaled down if necessary to '00' dimensions.
