This arrived from Germany this morning, don't know whether it was made in Germany originally, the seller reckons its from the Wehrmark period, me thinks a bit earlier, anyone got any info ? The flame pulsates, can anyone help me with the cause ?
I love the old alcohol stoves yours looks pretty heavy duty, cast iron? There might be some gunk in the feed tube.
My turm packed a sad the other day, It was going ok with blue ish flames then all of a sudden big yellow flames and a sooty pot, I havent had a look yet but im guessing the wick is had it, Prob the same for this stove, The wicks perished or clogged, I also have an Austral GG, Thats a cast meths burner made in austrailia, Not sure of the date. https://classiccampstoves.com/fusion/gallery/2038/1310167640-DSCF2422_opt.jpg
Hello Great seen your alcohol stove . I bought one very similar years ago and no one could tell me much about it . I'll post pictures soon as I how to . Be nice to get it working .
