I came across a optimus #00 complete. It was in a primus #210 case complete with exception of the stove. The question I have is did that stove come in that case? All the pics that I see it shows a much bigger stove. The case is in great shape and the little #00 is pretty nice also. I am going back to puchase it this weekend so I will post some pics when I get It Thanks Wade

    Morning, Wade,

Great find!! Sounds like you have some fun places to look for stoves in Grand Junction! Do you mind if I stop off, next June, when we pass through there on our annual trip to work in Wisconsin??!! ;) ;) 8) 8)  We usually stop for the night in Glenwood Springs, mainly so we can eat at Juicy Lucy's!!!! GREAT place!! But, when we're passing through, maybe Sweet Bride and I can stop and meet you for lunch, or something, and we can do a little stove hunting together!! How does that sound?! Last year, I actually spent the night in Grand Junction, on my way home, alone from Wisconsin. Sweet Bride had to work in Chicago, right after our Wisconsin gig. So, I dropped her off there, then hit the road by myself, for the long drive home, stopping in every single antique shop I could find on my way home!!! Ended up in GJ for my last night on the road.

I'll look forward to seeing just what stove you got, when you pick up that Optimus/210!! Both are simply outstanding stoves, though, and I'm sure you will be one Happy Camper when you get it home, were it belongs!! Congrats on an outstanding find! Take care, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc Mark

Doc Absoulutely!! I would love to have you come hang out!! I can take you to all the good stove hunting spots!! Juicy Lucy? I have not heard of that one but I will look it up next time I am thru there. I was just thru Glenwood on tuesday on my way to Aspen. I found a pretty nice svea 123r and a really nice Diamond Akron lamp. I ended up with the Lamp but have plans on going back for the 123r. If we do get together see if you can stay a whole day there is at least a dozen antique stores in the valley and another 15-20 a hour drive from here. All are pretty good hunting I do frequent them pretty often (I have a Coleman booth in one of them). But I will give it a rest for about a month or so before you come so we can be surprised!!! :) :)

How far are you from Yuca? I am planning a trip there this spring.

I will extend this invitation to anyone else whom happens to be in my neck of the woods @ any time Just PM me and I will give you my info.

I called and had the lady hold the #00 for me. I am trying to get a freind of mine to pick it up or I will have to make a flying trip tomorrow to pick it up. I will have some pics this weekend. Its been so long since I have had a stove to fettle I am not even sure that I will know what to do with it

    Good Morning, Wade,

Thanks, very much for the invitation!! I hope we can make it work out, time-wise. WE Will be passing through there in early June. You might be down here, at the Coleman place at the same time, though!!!

We live about one hour from Yucca Valley, and the Frank Bebb's place. It's a nice drive over that way, unless the wind is blowing, and then it's not that nice! Haven't been over there in a while, but scored a stove last time I made the trip. There's an antique place just down the way from Frank's, and I got an Optimus 45 with silent regulated burner, from there.

Anyway, it will be great to see you, either at your place, or ours! We can make a plan as it gets closer to the time, eh?

By the way, Juicy Lucy's is on the South side of I-70, downtown, right across from the old train station. It's one of our favorites, and I always have elk steak medallions, anytime we pass through there! Ummmmmm!!!! Take care, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc Mark
