it's a job to tell with those photo's the case looks right it has the right control knob and tank cap, but i'm dubious about the tank it might just be the pic not being very clear but it looks a later type tank than mine, it could be a replacement though the fact the seller has listed it as a 111/7 makes me think either it's someone on here selling it or someone has looked it up here, it wouldn't take 30 mins to swap out a 111 burner for a 111t and make a packet by selling it as a 111/7 if it were me i'd ask the seller for better pics of the tank and pics of underside of the burner skirt so that you can see what's written underneath if it's genuine i can't see they'd object but posting it on the forum you have probably bumped the price right up if it is pukka atb Bill

What is the difference between the burners on a 111T and a 111/7? I did see a post a while back on this.
hi Grunter i've looked at the new pic uploaded to the auction and i have been through my parts bin looking at old type 111t's i'll upload some pics of what i have found and you will see why i can't be 100% on whether it is a 111/7 btw the new pic in the auction does show a later type tank to mine and the others i have seen so far.the tank in the pic has a rounded shoulder where as mine and cliffs are the earlier type with the square shoulder square type seam |imgRemoved| rounded type seam, looks the same as pic in auction |imgRemoved| when i bought mine i wasn't 100% sure mine was the real deal until i compared it to the others that have been posted ie by Cliff there is no definitive manual on the 111's the only way you can work out much about them is by comparing models and then trying to draw a conclusion from what you find underside of burner of my 111/7 i have some 111t burners that have Arabic? writing underneath but it is different to the pic above, i'll post the pics of the others in a little while btw i have said in the past that the 111t looked just to be a re-released 111/7 with a meths jet and restrictor added to make it triple fuel as the burners are virtually identical you can tell a 111t is later by the case and fittings but as i said earlier if you swap burners around then it's much harder to know or spot would i bid on that one you have posted if i didn't already have mine and the price wasn't stupid then yes i would have, but it would be a gamble same as when i bought mine if you just want a silent 111 then go for it or a 111t, if your trying to collect all the 111's then it's worth a shot, but a word of warning there are a lot to collect i still need quite a few and they are rare atb Bill
