Well I ended up Sending the stove back to the Seller. Optimus Oz didn't want to know about it. Seller seems genuine enough. I thought he was trying to rip me off a sevice kit for it and I think he was thinking the same. When I was wrapping the box up I found a sticker that said somthing like opened by costoms for inspection or something :frown: :frown: :frown: Think I know were it went now. Anyway the jet keeped coming loose The rest I can live with comfortably enough. This model is the green adjuster with the flip over plate. See how it turns out. Thnaks Bruce
Hey, Guys, On our recent three night, four day car camping adventure, we used one of our two Nova's every single day, and not a whit of a problem. I was using Coleman fuel, and it primed in seconds, instead of minutes, and burned clean and hot as hades! The high flame was very hot, indeed, and the simmering flame very quiet, and quite steady. When it came time to turn it off, I simply flipped the pump over, as per instructions, and let the flame die on it's own. Then, after all the gases had vented, and the stove was quiet, I turned off the valve. No sticking, no jet backing out, no problems at all. This stove, or at least ours, is super reliable, and my most favorite backpacking stove. I have photos to post, but still need to learn how. Take care, and God Bless! Every Good Wish, Doc
Use 7/16" (~11-12mm) brass hex stock. Drill and tap the Nova end to M8x0.75. Machine the other end and thread to M8x0.5, which fits the thread on a Primus Omnifuel hose/valve set. Buy a Primus Omnifuel hose, part #P731930, HERE, and a Primus Ergopump, part #P732231, HERE. Voila! A triple fuel stove. Easy peasy.
