    The Mosquito No.1 pricker is a neat item.
    It's a pricker where you can insert a wire of suitable gauge. The wire itself is well protected so that you can handle the tool pretty roughly, and during the operation, the wire is well controlled as it's guided through the hole in the little tab that is placed firmly against the jet.

    Apart from the text 'Mosquito No.1', it says 'Patent' and 'Made in Sweden'.
    No numbers after the word 'Patent'. Not even saying it's pending.

    Agree, Trevor! They are really handy.

    Dave, I don't know when these were made. Two of them came along the other spare parts and tools for stoves and lamps that I got from an old hard ware store.
    I have the impression that most parts in the boxes comes from the 50's or as late as the 60's, so possibly these little prickers are from that period, but that's a very uncertain assumption.

    It looks like a miniature version of the tool for removing stones from cherries.
