Are all Primus 57 burners regulated it’s that what makes it a 57? I have a heater attachment and the catalogues dont show the burner as a regulated one when the heater is in use?
@Nicola Francesco Elia Thanks Nicola I have a heater dome for a 110 but the support leg is too tall to use in conjunction with a 46 silent I have as a test bed but the 157R reflector fits well. I have a 51 but it’s a roarer, however it will give me some idea of the length of the leg I need for the heater dome on a 57? Hopefully? The chances of me finding an actual 57 will be minimal!
You can use a 51 with a non regulated silent burner without problems with your 157r set up… in the end it’s identical to the 154r set up for traditional 54. Nicola

Hi. I have a follow-up question related to the 4047 burner on the Primus 57. I hope it is OK to add it to this thread? I bought a Primus 57 from ebay. It was converted to a lamp, so many parts are missing, but the stove also came with a heater dome that I want for another project/stove. Some previous owner had drilled a hole to get the wires through the stove. This means that some parts are missing/destroyed. See attached picture. As this burner is very special, I assume the parts are "impossible" to find, and that I need manufacture or improvise the missing parts (4187 and 6124 in particular). I hope the cleaning needle 6132 can be replaced with some similar part. I'd like to hear if anyone may have creative ideas to which (more common) parts can be used /adapted to fit this nice stove / burner? Any help or hint is appreciated, Håvard
@Håvard Kvernelv why do people do this to stoves the parts look similar to those used isn something else (I cannot remember at the moment ! Is it a 110?)
Part 4187 is the same pattern as found in Primus pressure lamps, I’d say. I may have part 6132 as NOS, but I’m away from home for some days. Tony
