A very well used 3 pint / 1.7 litre Primus No.25 that has had solder repairs undertaken to the pump tube and air release valve tube in the dim and distant past.

I decided I would leave these ‘as is’ as they are part of the stove’s history.

I have added a Primus No.4268 pilot lighter.

The No.25 has a big burner No.4140 (same as the Primus No.6 & No.10) with a 6-row No.4206 outer cap and a No.4678 inner cap which has an extended spigot.

    The hexagonal fuel jet (No.4392).

The 1924 patent Primus took out on their sunken filler was a very clever design. This allowed the tank to be able to be filled right up to the filler cap without compromising the air gap required above the kero/paraffin level to enable tank pressure to be produced by the pump.

‘Sweden’ stamped on the reverse side of the filler cap and air release valve.

Knurling design of the pump knob and cap.

The top tank stamping are quite worn.

This No.25 is a great performer.
