    This model has the primer burner and it works very well. Excellent power range from full blast to low simmer shown in the photos.

    Wow...this is the first time I've seen this model. What a wonderful little stove. Great photos and presentation by the way. The flame pattern and adjustability is fantastic. This would be a good choice for cooking rice on a low simmer.

    Superb, a great example. They are very elusive! :mrgreen:

    I have a couple of Primus 1050/1051 Lanterns, they utilise the same style of preheater valve and the "soft" type of preheating flame.

    @Kiwi cooker
    Thank you for excellent post. Fantastic rare stove! I am "ditto" on all above comments, first i ever noticed one as well although it is in catalogs on the site.
    I have definite fondness for that type box-stove, the more rare 1 burner versions.
    Yours makes more clear the U-shape mixing chamber, common BUT, i cant recall on a Primus.
    It is petrol which also sets it apart.
    for the details credit goes to another excellent post: 1932 No:76 the comments in 2008 by @Motoshi Makino & @Spiritburner
    thx again

    Yes. I purchased it in NZ. Package deal with a Coleman 530 that was the main focus of the add. The Primus was included as an afterthought really but I could see it in the low quality grainy photo and thought I knew what it was so purchased them immediately. Pleased that I did!
