This is the latest addition to my collection. It is very similar to Coleman 424 stove but with a single burner. The cover of the stove box is badged as Shaaz and I've never seen another copy before. The company Shaaz is still alive in Russia but manufacturing truck radiators now. Original color scheme was blue in the tank and gray for the box but due too much surface rust I had to repaint it. Now it has an orange colored tank and a box with dark green outside and black inside. Here are some photos and this thing is like a nuclear reactor when compared to my other stoves.
Very interesting stove, I think I would find that set-up quite useful as I seldom really need both burners on my coleman. Thanks for sharing.
I think russians had good means of utilizing their production plants when undercapacity problems arise. This is just a guess but as I know ogonek r1 is produced by a factory which has a main business of something totally different than manufacturing camping stoves. Shaaz may be another example. Again it is a clone of well known design. Even they simplified it. The company runs another business as of today. They probably produced these stoves in bad times to keep the company up and it seems like they have gone the right way. Shaaz company link
