Very nice. Looks solid. Interesting that the burner has the older type simmer ring. I thought that they had gone over to the newer type of simmer ring by the 80's. HJ
The new type simmer ring came in during the 80's but I don't remember when. Much more robust than the modern ones! I like the kettle lid but I don't think it's original. Is it marked Trangia? Shape aside, the vent hole wasn't introduced until a fair bit later. A useful addition to prevent a vacuum & poor pouring. I drilled my old ones. My 1978 Trangia (I've had since new) came with the usual kettle with a Trangia logo on the lid & Trangia woven into the strap
When all is said and done, man has come and gone and the roach's time has finally come. They'll unearth a Trangia T25, dust it off, say *Roach speak* 'Damn! Cool idea! Lets put it back into production.......'
