Trangia clone

Hey all,

My girlfriend and I where walking through some shops and after beeing bored my eye fell on a very nice item in a houseware shop called 'Blokker':



A Trangia clone. It had the nice price tag of a whopping €0,50!

So I brought it home, but then I realised that I was unable to use it, unless I made a stand or something for it. Then it hit me! I am going on a vacation soon and I am planning on bringing a SVEA 123R with me.

Then I looked at the Trangia clone and back at the windshield of the 123 this is what I did:



I filled the lid/pan of the 123 about 3/4 of water and it was up to a rolling boil in about 4~5 minutes. I didn't time it exactly.

But for the price I'm happy with it and now I'll be on the search for a pan set to go with it. 8)

Ha! That's a very creative use of a Svea 123 windshield. It looks like a very good alcohol stove -- for €0.50!

Well, Blow my dress up! Is that the military size or the consumer size Trangia knockoff?
