So if I were to buy a totally modern, reliable liquid fuel stove along the lines of an MSR or the likes, what would be the choice of our expert panel?
I've heard the MSR Dragonfly is great, I'm to receive a lightly used one. Good ones seem to sell for around $70 range. Plus, you can get a pump cheaply if needed for one. Ever see how many other pumps come up if something happens? Duane
It all depends on whether you want something pocketable - primus express with piezo, in the backpack - I would agree on hikerduane the Dragonfly or the Brunton branded Nova that has the belt case (not the bag). Or just wait for next year when the Whisperlite Universal comes out although that one is not pocket sized but at least multi fuel. I would expect that to be between $140 - 160 not including tax. Ron
