Incidentally I also filter my fuel with an amazing filter .... Mr Funnel .. it is fast , will trap all crud/debris/impurities and keep water out...
I agree with the info on the old kerosene , it would leave my greenhouse heater all clogged with wispy carbon and black soot/ crud .. hey ho but...
